Making Bethel Your Home Away from Home

Housing

From apartments you share with friends, to more traditional dorm rooms, we have a variety of student housing options on campus.

Men’s Housing

Men’s dorms on campus are a great place to build community and create lifelong friendships.

Women’s Housing

Come for the experience; leave with lifelong friends.

Married Housing

Rental properties may be available for married students of Bethel University. A non-refundable application fee is required with a security deposit equal to the monthly rent. The university lifestyle covenant will be enforced. No curfew and no pets.

Housing Requirements

On Campus Living Required

It is for educational and developmental reasons that all unmarried, full-time students under the age of 21 and not living with parents are required to live in the university’s residential housing and participate in a food plan, as are most students who receive scholarship assistance from the university. Students under 21 who have lived on campus for four semesters may apply to move off campus before their fifth semester, provided they are not receiving scholarship assistance.

Student Athlete Residential Living Policy

Bethel University student-athletes contribute a great deal to the campus. Their potential impact reaches far beyond athletic participation and extends into the classroom, the residence halls, the dining commons, and the local community. Bethel University believes that at Bethel, education for traditional students is best experienced by those who live on campus. Furthermore, many student-athletes are awarded athletic scholarships, in part, because of the contribution they make to residential community life. Therefore, all unmarried students granted athletic scholarships must live on campus or at home with their parents/guardians.*

*Student-athletes receiving an athletic scholarship covering more than 50% of their tuition are required to live on campus.

Staff

Bethel’s Student Life team is here to help you maximize your college experience. Many of us are former Bethel students who have lived — and loved — the Bethel lifestyle. We have a firsthand understanding of how engaging in student life can transform the lives of students, which is why we came back to ensure that current and future students get that same chance. Even our staff members who have only served in a professional capacity can speak to the impact our team has on the campus community. Day in and day out, we strive to create a challenging, supportive growth environment for every Bethel student.
