Transfer Students

You've worked hard on your education by completing college course work after high school, and we're excited that you're considering completing your degree at Bethel University.

As you take this next step toward transferring your college credits, we're here to partner with you on your academic journey. To be considered for admission, you must be in good academic standing and have a cumulative college GPA of at least 2.0 (4.0 scale).

Admission Process

Admission Steps

  1. Complete online Transfer Application
  2. Send your college transcripts to Bethel
    • Have official college or university transcripts from all institutions you’ve attended sent to:
      Bethel University Admission

  3. Send your official high school transcripts to Bethel
    • Transfer students who have 30 transferrable credit hours are not required to provide high school transcripts. Your admission counselor will confirm if transcripts are not needed. Note: nursing students are required to submit high school transcript as part of the nursing application process.
  4. Submit SAT or ACT scores for Proficiency
    • Official test scores must be sent from the testing agency or be included on high school transcript. If you have completed a college level English or math course, test scores may not be needed. Please communicate with your admission counselor to confirm.
  5. Optional: Personal Statement
    • If you have additional information to share with Bethel’s admission committee, you may include a personal statement with your application. This will assist the committee in understanding a difficult semester, personal or family issues, etc.
  6. Submit your Enrollment Deposit
  7. Join the Bethel Community

Transfer Credit

Your official college transcripts will be reviewed by our registrar’s office upon acceptance. Once evaluated, you will receive a transfer credit report by email that will show which credits and courses have transferred to Bethel. Read more about our transfer credit policies.
