Transfer Students

1. Complete a free application 
2. Send your college transcripts to Bethel
   • Have official college or university transcripts from all institutions you’ve attended sent to:
     Admissions@BethelUniversity.edu
     or

3. Send your official high school transcripts to Bethel
   • Transfer students who have 30 transferrable credit hours are not required to provide high school transcripts. Your admission counselor will confirm if transcripts are not needed. Note: nursing students are required to submit high school transcript as part of the nursing application process.

4. Submit CLT, SAT or ACT scores 
   • Official test scores must be sent from the testing agency or included on your high school transcript. Bethel University is test-optional through 2022. Test scores may not be needed if your high school GPA was a 2.5 (4.0 scale) or higher or you have completed a college-level English or math course. Please contact your admission counselor if you have any questions.
5. Optional: Personal Statement
   • If you have additional information to share with Bethel’s admission committee, you may include a personal statement with your application. This will assist the committee in understanding a difficult semester, personal or family issues, etc.
6. Submit your Enrollment Deposit

   • Once you’ve been accepted, secure your spot at New Student Registration by submitting a $100 enrollment deposit (refundable until May 1).

7. Join the Bethel Community
   • Visit our Admitted Student page to discover ways to prepare yourself for life at Bethel.

Your official college transcripts will be reviewed by our registrar’s office upon acceptance. Once evaluated, you will receive a transfer credit report by email that will show which credits and courses have transferred to Bethel. Read more about our transfer credit policies.

Transfer students who are members of Phi Theta Kappa are eligible for scholarships of $8,000 to $12,000 to help you complete your associate or bachelor's degree. Connect with your admission counselor and mention your PTK status to be recognized.
