Be You at BU

Prepare for your future with one of Bethel University's 50+ academic programs.

With one of Bethel University’s key attributes being strong academics, you will experience rigorous curriculum to challenge and prepare you for your career and for your life. With more than 50 bachelor's programs for undergraduate students who live on campus or commute from the local South Bend/Mishawaka community, you’ll work toward an undergraduate degree on your terms.

As a liberal arts university, we offer degrees ranging from accounting to worship arts, with a lot in between. Every year we add more, like our fall 2019 additions of cyber security and computer science. Plus, internships, study abroad programs, task force trips, leadership opportunities, theatre productions and mentoring programs make for a well-rounded undergraduate experience.

No matter if you are a first-time freshman, transfer, REACH/Dual, guest or returning student, you can be confident that Bethel University’s Admission and Financial Aid teams will guide you through the process. See How We Rank!

At the core of all we do is your spiritual development. You will attend chapel three times a week, which features music, scripture and inspiring speakers. Other opportunities include Bible studies, a Collegiate Day of Prayer, and weekly Vesper services.

Relationships are an important part of student life. From the historic Oakwood-Slater Hall and Shupe Hall for underclassmen to the newer Logan Village for upperclassmen, there's a rich history in our student dorms. In your home away from home, you'll build close friendships and always have the support of our Student Life Staff. For commuter students, plenty of social activities connect you to your peers outside the classroom.
