Bethel College is pleased to announce Jill Tyler as the new Director of Admissions for the traditional admissions office. Tyler will oversee all traditional admissions recruitment efforts and began in her role on May 1.
Tyler’s career experience includes five years in college admissions, as well as leading an award-winning sales team with more than $300,000 in annual retail sales. She is a graduate of Cedarville University in Cedarville, Ohio. Both Cedarville and Bethel are members of the Council for Christian Colleges and Universities and share a similar mission.
“I am very excited for what Jill is bringing to the admissions team,” says Vice President Toni Steffensen Pauls, Ph.D. “In addition to her leadership skills, sales experience and high energy, she brings a fresh perspective to the office and is a valuable addition to our staff.”
Tyler is no stranger to the college. She attends Nappanee Missionary Church, where she has had opportunity to build relationships with many Bethel faculty, staff and students, and her mother, Jackie Hunsberger, is a Bethel graduate.
“Great things are happening at Bethel and I am excited to be a part of it,” says Tyler. “I’m very passionate about how life-changing a four-year Christian college experience is and I look forward to sharing the value of a Bethel education with prospective students and parents.”
