The Bethel College Voices of Triumph and Women's Chorale will present a spring semester performance on Fri., April 26 at 7:30 p.m., in the Paqui and Brian Kelly Auditorium in the Middleton Hall of Science on Bethel’s campus. The concert features the newly re-established Women's Chorale under the direction of Jeshua Franklin, and accompanied by Robert Rhein. They will perform arrangements of "How Can I Keep from Singing" and "Study War No More," as well as a setting of the well-known text, "Prayer of St. Francis." Also on their program will be a cover of Pentatonix's soulful "Take Me Home."
Voices of Triumph, Bethel's premier a cappella ensemble directed by Jeshua Franklin, will present a wide range of choral repertoire, including "Sicut cervus," by Palestrina, "Hodie Christus natus est," by Francis Poulenc, "I Will Lift Mine Eyes," by Jake Runestad, "My Soul's Been Anchored in the Lord," by Moses Hogan, and "It Don't Mean a Thing" as performed by the Real Group.
