Bethel University to Host Go2BU and Cochren & Co. Concert

Bethel University will host Go2BU, a special three-day, two-night campus visit experience for high school juniors and seniors, transfer students and parents from Thurs., Oct. 14 to Sat., Oct. 16. The event is designed to expose students to campus and give them a taste of life as a BU student. Registrants will be automatically entered to win a $5,000 or $10,000 scholarship*. Registration is open until Mon., Oct. 11.

At Bethel University’s Go2BU event, students will discover what it’s like to be a Bethel Pilot and immerse themselves in the Bethel community. After check-in, students will meet their overnight hosts, enjoy dinner on campus, attend Tip-Off Madness (the annual kick-off to basketball season), and participate in dorm activities.

Over the course of the weekend, a variety of activities will be available to students. These include attending a class simulation, chapel, student life panels, disc golf tournaments, a fine arts expo and scholarship information sessions.

Friday evening, students will enjoy a Cochren & Co. concert and fireworks with others in the Bethel and the Michiana  community. The concert will take place in the Everest-Rohrer Fine Arts Center/Chapel – Auditorium on Bethel University’s campus. Doors open at 7:30 p.m. and the concert begins at 8 p.m. The concert is free for Go2BU students. Guests and community members may purchase general admission tickets at onthestage.tickets/bethel-university for $5 or $8 at the door.

The cost for Go2BU is $50/student and additional tickets to the Cochren & Co. concert are $5 each for family members attending. Sign up now on our Go2BU page

*This is a renewable scholarship applied toward tuition only. The recipient must be a senior in high school, have applied to Bethel and be enrolled as a degree seeking student at Bethel University by Aug. 12, 2022. The $5,000 scholarship will be awarded at $1,250 per year for four years. The $10,000 scholarship will be awarded at $2,500 per year for four years. Students may apply for additional student aid through the Free Application for Federal Student Aid at fafsa.ed.gov. Recipient must be present at drawing during Go2BU event.
