Bethel University will host nearly 30 Christian colleges for the annual South Bend/Mishawaka Christian College Fair on Monday, Sept. 27 from 6:30-8:30 p.m., in the Wiekamp Athletic Center, 1001 Bethel Circle, Mishawaka, Ind. High school, junior high, and junior college students and parents are encouraged to attend.
Christian college representatives will be available to answer questions and discuss options for those interested in a four-year institution. Financial aid staff will be at the fair to assist students and families with requesting their Federal Student Aid ID, a code needed in order to file the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). The FAFSA is used to determine a student’s eligibility for federal aid and many colleges also use it to distribute institutional aid. Families can file as early as Oct. 1, 2021 for the 2022-23 academic year.
At the event, students can engage with different colleges and universities in order to win tickets, which may be entered to win gift cards: $500 to Amazon, $250 to Best Buy, $50 to Starbucks or $50 to Target.
This free event is sponsored by the North American Coalition of Christian Admissions Professionals and is open to the public. At this time, all guests are asked to wear a mask indoors.
