As of right now, Bethel University still plans to offer its annual academic and sports camps for kids this summer, following all CDC guidelines in response to COVID-19.

UPDATE AS OF JUNE 30: Musical theatre camp will not take place this year.

“I want to assure you that we will be following, very closely, the CDC recommended procedures for summer camps,” says Deb Swerman, M.F.A., Director of Acting at Bethel University. “All of us involved with the camps are studying the guidelines and putting our heads together to make your youth’s experience educational, safe and fun.”

Academic camps provide children from ages 9-14 with the chance to explore their interests with college professors, instructors and leaders who channel their knowledge into a fun, hands-on college learning experience. Camps in science, theatre, language and art run July 13-17 and July 20-24 from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. and cost $120 each. To learn more about specific camps offered and register, visit our Camps page or call 574.807.7623.

Sports camps for ages 8-18, will also be directed by Bethel coaches this summer. These include Basketball, Cheer, Esports, Lacrosse, Rugby, Soccer, Track & Field and Volleyball, with several day camp and overnight options in June and July. Cost and schedule varies by camp.
