Bethel University Recognized as a Top Tier College for 17th Consecutive Year

Bethel University earned the 33rd spot among the Midwest’s Best Regional Universities in the 2021 U.S. News Best Colleges ranking. This is the 17th consecutive year that Bethel has been recognized as a Top Tier university on this annual list.

The rankings, now in their 36th year, evaluate more than 1,400 colleges and universities on 17 indicators of academic quality. This year’s edition includes several updates to the Best Colleges methodology that address important issues directly impacting students and their families, such as student debt, social mobility and outcomes. 

Bethel was also ranked No. 5 on the list of “Top Performers on Social Mobility – Regional Universities Midwest,” recognizing Bethel as a university with success in helping underrepresented students advance in social mobility.

Other recent recognition for Bethel includes being recognized by Money Magazine as a “Best College for Your Money 2020,” being named by Washington Monthly as a “Best Bang for the Buck – Midwest 2020,” and appearing on Washington Monthly’s list of “Top Master’s Universities 2020,” where Bethel ranked No. 100 in the nation.
