Bethel University Presents Fall Jazz and Wind Ensembles Concert

Bethel University’s Music Department presents the final performance of their Fall Concert Series on Thurs., Nov. 18, at 7:30 p.m. The concert will feature performances from the Jazz Ensemble and Wind Ensemble and will be held in the Everest-Rohrer Chapel/Fine Arts Center Auditorium.

Under the direction of Keith Ertner, the Wind Ensemble's repertoire will include "Jesu, Joy of Man's Desiring," arranged by Erik W. G. Leidzen, Gabriel Muse Ila's "Bulgarian Rhapsody," and Frank Ticheli's arrangement of "Amazing Grace."

Wade Armentrout will direct the Jazz Ensemble in performances of Count Basie's "Front Burner," "A Child is Born," by Thad Jones, and Louie Prima's "Jump, Jive an' Wail."

Tickets are $7 for adults and $5 for students, seniors, and Bethel faculty and staff. Current Bethel students will receive free admission with their Bethel ID. Purchase tickets online at or call 574.807.7080, Mon./Wed./Fri., 1- 5 p.m. and Tues./Thurs., 3- 5 p.m.
