Bethel Offers Assistance to Displaced ITT Tech Students

With the news that ITT Tech is suddenly closing all campuses, including the one in South Bend, Bethel College is stepping in to help local students complete their degree. Bethel has a more generous credit transfer policy than many other institutions and is prepared to assist displaced students so they can continue their education without disruption.

“We know that these students have invested time, money and energy into bettering their lives through education, and now, through no fault of their own, they’ve hit a big bump in the road,” says Toni Steffensen Pauls, Ph.D., vice president for adult and graduate studies. “We want to help them find a way to continue down the path they started and be able to use what they gained at ITT Tech to move them towards a college degree.”

Advisors from Bethel’s Adult and Graduate Studies Office are available to speak with any affected ITT students and develop a personalized plan for completing their education. For more information, call 574.807.7550 or visit
