Bethel students, faculty and staff will serve together throughout Michiana during the annual campus-wide service day on Tuesday, Oct. 4. The day will start at 8 a.m. in the Everest-Rohrer Chapel/Fine Arts Center, where individuals will divide into groups and leave campus to volunteer at various local organizations from 9 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.

More than 800 students, plus faculty and staff members, will serve at more than 50 different locations in the community, including Food Bank of Northern Indiana, Hannah and Friends, LOGAN Center, Pet Refuge, Potawatomi Zoo, Ronald McDonald House Charities, St. Joseph County Parks, Unity Gardens, and more. Service at each location generally varies from physical labor such as yard work, construction, and painting to personal interaction with the elderly and children.

All classes before 6 p.m. are cancelled for the day so all students, faculty and staff may participate. This is the 28th annual service day for the college.
