Computer Science Major

Bachelor of Science (BS) Program – 4 years

With a strong emphasis in programming and theory, courses include:

  • Computer programming, from object oriented and advanced data structures to advanced programming skills
  • Cloud computing beginning with IaaS, SaaS, and PaaS and then exploring applications to Machine Learning and Data Science
  • Databases and networks
  • Software Engineering, with an emphasis on the Agile Methodology
  • Independent learning
  • A capstone project to explore advanced concepts preparing you for a career in computing

A degree in computer science can also be achieved through the Bethel University Extension Studies program.
