"While marketing and communications is an ever-evolving field, Bethel helped lay the foundation for the skills I use every day, like writing, editing, critical thinking and creative brainstorming. The faculty helped push my writing to the next level and develop my passion for storytelling. But, most importantly, Bethel was a place where I could grow in my faith, surrounded by like-minded classmates, friends and faculty.”

“My time at Bethel changed the course of my life. The professors in the Communications department (including the late, Dr. Scott Johnson) guided, challenged and educated me as a student and as a human being. They taught me much more than what I needed to know to pursue a career; they taught me what I needed to know to improve my life. Now, as a professor myself, each day I try to do for my students what those professors did for me."
